This is just a quick comment on your series, presently airing on Cox Cable, channel 15. I'll try to keep it short and sweet. I'm a 55 year old software developer, non-degreed (lack of self-discipline, not opportunity) who missed biology studies in my "formative years". I am presently enjoying my second exposure to a lecture in your series. (Sadly, I missed the beginning.)
I'm finding the experience highly enjoyable and enlightening. Your presentation style is captivating and you have a gift for making the material highly accessible, even to one who has no formal training in the area. You've even provoked a few hearty chuckles  (e.g. "cheater birds") and several outbursts of "Wow!" and "Amazing!".
I wanted to let you know that beyond your lecture hall audience and those viewing your series who are motivated by the pursuit of degrees, there are others "out here" who are benefiting from and enjoying your efforts, if only for personal growth. Thank you.
